Why Indian politicians are entitled for a lifetime pension if they become a member of any House for even one term? The contribution of most of them is zero, they make enough money in salary and benefits during their tenure, a lot of them act as brokers, they take money from interested parties to raise questions during zero hour etc...This kind of compensation without any educational or intellectual requirement has made our politics a very lucrative business...We need a very drastic systemic change for our polity to change...If politicians have their way, they would allocate more funds for improvements in our jails compared to educational institutions because the chances of them going to jail is more than going to a school or college...
