After the terrorists attack in Uri, the Indian Motion Pictures’ Artists Association (IMPPA) decided to ban all Pakistani artists and technicians from working in India. Actor Salman Khan opposed this decision and said that ,”They are artists and not terrorists. It is the government who gives them permits and visas.”

It seems that the actor does not understand the complexities of International diplomacy at all...He simply does not realise that the Indo-Pak relations has reached a point of no return...There is no room for cricket or cultural diplomacy anymore...Pakistan is not run and controlled by cricketers and artists...The power is vested in the fundamentalists ruling the country and their goal is to destroy India...He is totally bereft of a deep understanding of these kind of serious situations...He should limit his activities to singing and dancing on screen as well as on the stage. He himself has a very controversial past...I do not have anything against him as a person...He might be a nice person and I applaud his work which he is doing through his organisation "Being Human"...He talks about Indian government giving the Pakistani artists permits and visas...The terrorists who were responsible for 9/11 in New York were also given visas by the US government...He also should not forget that Government of India also gives out Driving License to people only to drive in a responsible manner...He might be a mega star but his ignorance is profound...
